About

Hi, I’m Brittany. I’m a product designer who doesn’t compromise on clarity, craft, or collaboration.

My path into product design wasn’t a straight line. I spent the first half of my career working across branding, art direction, print design, touchscreen interfaces, and web experiences. That breadth of experience gave me the flexibility to adapt quickly to new business domains while bringing a high standard for craft across every part of the work. I’m just as comfortable stepping into complex systems and messy, unscoped spaces as I am refining the micro-interactions, copy, and UI details that turn functional software into frictionless experiences.

With 8+ years across 0-to-1 startups and enterprise B2B SaaS, my goal is always the same: hold user needs and business strategy with equal care, make complex technology feel lighter, and build great products with people who care.

PS – My design career really started back in 1998 when I won the D.A.R.E. t-shirt competition and got this sweet bike as a prize → → →

How I work

Design is a process, not an artifact.

Design is a process of asking questions, driving alignment, creating value, understanding users, simplifying complexity, planning for the future, and course correcting the past. It is a process rooted in caring about business and users with equal weight throughout every step. Artifacts are just evidence of the work along the way: ideas jotted on paper, summaries of user research, sketches drawn by hand, Figma files, AI prototypes…none of them are the point. What matters is what they help a team uncover, decide, or build next.

The reality is, process varies greatly from project to project depending on needs, resources, and timelines. No matter the process or output, some things remain constant in the way I work.

01

Clarity

Speed and quality are unlocked when a team starts with alignment and clarity around the problem and a deep understanding of what matters and why.

02

Craft

Technology becomes frictionless when every detail of the product is approached with equal consideration: systems, interactions, copy, spacing...all of it matters.

03

Collaboration

Great products are the result of great teams: teams that share ideas, communicate, learn from one another, and genuinely care about both the users and the business outcomes.

Kind words from teammates

“Brittany has an incredible ability to zoom between macro-systems and micro-craft. She can examine an extremely complex product and naturally map the universe – taking broad, messy problem spaces across product lines and giving them experientially cohesive structure.”

A little more about me

Outside of work, you’ll likely find me in the pottery studio, tending to my plants, taking long walks, whipping up plant-based treats, exploring a new hobby, tackling a puzzle, spending time with family, or plotting my next escape into nature.
